BLK JKS - Running/Asibaleki

Southafrican rockers BLK JKS are "a fundamentally live band" playing for more than two decades now. The live component of their music is successfully, but more rarely than not transcribed onto their releases. And their newly released single is just the same - with Running / Asibaleki, BLK JKS are announcing the global release of their sophomore album, Abantu / Before Humans, coming more than a decade after their first LP, After Robots.

In the Hit Interview, we are joined by Mpumelele Mcata and Molefi Makananise, the guitarist and the bassist of the group; they explain the process of the album freshly made, give some pointers on how to dance on the Running, and give a bit of insight on which barriers are still left to be broken in South African music and society.
