In this IndieRE broadcast, Luise and Lena from Radio Corax explore the local and regional jazz music scene. Therefore, they invited Albrecht Brandt to the show who is one of the founder of the Jazz Kollektiv, a collective that organizes jazz concerts in Halle regularly. At the same time, he creates jazz compositions himself and plays the upright bass in his own jazz project Brandt. Apart from the regional jazz scene, they look at current releases from artists such as toechter, a band that introduces string instruments into pop music.

The 97th IndieRE radio show is hosted by the Independent Coastal Radio or Radio NOR, Neodvisni obalni radio, from the seaside town of Koper – Capodistria on the Istria peninsula. In this episode, we’ll focus on the new studio album Roadkill released by the stoner doom metal band Omega Sun, we’ll play a song from the family band Good Freddy and dive into the grunge sound of the band Paranoise. Then, we'll explore the dark depths of the obscure genre dubstep, with Gisaza, a local producer and DJ, and conclude the broadcast with an anonymous Christmas gift called Fantazima.

We couldn't wait for the IndieRE Radio Show to come back with a fresh Hungarian edition, because the Hungarian artists didn't rest at the end of the year. Actually! We could hardly resist to choose between the fresh releases. The 94th edition of IndieRE offers recordings from, among others, the band Qualitons, who are back after their break-up. We'll also choose from recent releases by Samurai Drive and 30Y, and at the end of the show we'll dedicate a special block to the Hungarian drum and bass and breakbeat culture, featuring a recent song by MC Fedora.
